The Academy of Universal Heritage was conceptualized to provide an environment that facilitates rational conclusions relating to our heritage, based on primary scientific evidence that is systematically analysed from a multitude of sources. The Founding Directors are Arjuna Weerasinghe, Hao Weimin and Ranjith Liyanage.
We study and support the study into human proto-history, the missing link between human pre-history and the early historical period. Systematic study of scientific data relating to this period of human history is
vital to understanding the journey of the human species. This void in knowledge has been filled with mythology and scientifically un-substaniated opinion. The Human Proto-History Project of the Academy of Universal Heritage
is intended to identify scientific data that will systematically reveal the footsteps of mankind accross this period of time.
The Human Proto-History Project aims to gather scientific data that is as contemporanious to the proto-historical period as possible. This, we believe, enhances accurate understanding of our shared history and discourages
distortion of historical events by opinion. We also support the conservation and making available for academic study of more recent records, which have been forgotten in time and may reveal vital information relating to
human proto-history.
